FAQ

Everything you're wondering before you book. Still curious about something? Ask away on the booking form.

How do I book? Do you take walk-ins?

I work by appointment only, no walk-ins. But booking is easy as pie! Fill out the request form with your idea, placement, and size. Once it's received, you'll get an email with a quote and a link to my calendar so I can get you all set and scheduled in. Questions first? Don't DM — email me at missbethanytattoos@gmail.com.

Will I be welcome here?

Yes. Full stop. This chair is proudly LGBTQIA+-friendly and neurodivergent-friendly. Need to stim, take breaks, wear headphones, bring a support person or a comfort item? All good. Tell me what makes the experience easier for you and I'll make it happen. There's a whole page on how I approach inclusivity & comfort.

Do you require a deposit?

Once I've discussed your ideas with you and settled the details, there is a required $100 booking fee to lock in your appointment date. This fee is non-refundable, but it will be deducted from your total price on the day of your scheduled appointment.

If you need to reschedule, the fee can be shifted to a different date one time, as long as a minimum of 72 hours notice is given. Last-minute rescheduling, or simply missing your appointment with no notice, will likely mean a new booking fee is needed.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Every piece is quoted individually; size, detail, color, and placement all play a part. After you send the request form, you'll get a quote by email before anything is locked in, so there are never surprises.

Do you do custom work, or flash?

Both! Custom pieces are drawn just for you from your idea and references. Available designs are pre-drawn pieces, and each one is tattooed only once. When it's claimed, it's gone.

What styles do you love doing most?

Everything from black and grey dotwork to bright and colorful, sparkly pieces! Nerdy things and cute things. Critters and creepy crawlers. Video games. Books. Anime. Browse the portfolio to see what that looks like.

Can I bring my own design or reference images?

Please do! Reference images help a ton. Your tattoo will be drawn as a custom piece, so references are inspiration rather than something copied line-for-line (and other artists' work is never copied).

Can I see the design before my appointment?

I usually show the design the day of, right before I start, so there's time to tweak it together. I don't send drawings ahead of time, but trust the process! I'll adjust anything that isn't sitting right before a single line goes on.

Can I make changes to the design?

Small tweaks day-of are normal and expected. And if you're uncertain about the size you've been offered, you can absolutely ask to see another option. If you want a completely different concept from what you and I agreed on, that may need a new booking fee and a rebooking, since it changes my prep time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Sleep well, eat a real meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and wear comfy clothes that give easy access to the spot being tattooed. Skip alcohol for 24 hours before, since it thins your blood.

What if I've been sick recently?

Please don't come in. If you've been ill in the last few days, please email me to reschedule. It's better for your healing and for everyone in the shop.

Can I bring a friend?

One guest is fine, but space is limited, so please don't bring a group. Kids and pets can't come into the work area.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older, and I check ID at every appointment. No exceptions, even with a parent present.

Do you offer free touch-ups?

I offer one free touch-up within the first 4 months as long as you followed the aftercare instructions. Touch-ups after that are charged at a small fee.

What if I have questions while it's healing?

Message me anytime. I'd rather answer a quick question than have you worry.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

EDIT-ME: You'll get full aftercare instructions at your appointment. General version of her aftercare routine goes here (wash, moisturize, no sun/soaking, how long, which products).

Is there anything you won't tattoo?

Absolutely no hate symbols of any kind. You will be rejected from the shop.

What are your hours?

Weekdays, appointments start at 10am. Saturdays I'm open any time. Closed Sundays.

Where are you located?

At Rosemary & Ashes Tattoo in Spring Hill, Florida. Questions? Email me at missbethanytattoos@gmail.com.
